Full course description

The Clery Act is a federal law requiring schools and universities to inform students, employees, and applicants about certain crimes and other incidents that occur on campus. Universities identify individuals, known as Campus Security Authorities (CSAs), to aid in meeting the law. CSAs are defined as people with significant responsibility for student and campus activities and must receive annual training on the Clery Act and the duties of a CSA.

The University of Maryland Police Department has worked with University Human Resources to offer the annual training in an online format.
